Spare Parts Interpreter

Based in the south‑east industrial hub, this workplace not only looks after their customers, they look after their people. This role is Monday – Friday, 7:30am – 4:00pm and is an essential part to the successful operation of the whole business and maintaining the high service that sets them apart.

Responsibilities - Rinse & Repeat!

Technical
- Interpreting diagrams and understanding how components come together
- Champion processes: parts look-ups, quoting, invoicing and system updates
- Using your mechanical/technical thinking to identify the right parts
- Crosschecking data and accurately following processes for warranty
- Manage service POs
- Confirm payment processing of Webstore orders before dispatch
- Process returns and credits

Hands-On
- Pick, pack and dispatch spare parts with high attention to detail
- Handle inbound stock: checking, sorting, shelving
- Support service schedulers by preparing parts for contractors
- Physical tasks including lifting, bending and carrying
- Follow Work Health and Safety procedures at all times

Customer Service & Team Support
- Respond to general enquiries and provide timely service / order updates via email and phone calls
- Retain product knowledge and key specifications
- Ensure customers understand the terms of trade
- Provide customers with illustrated parts diagrams and other relevant forms when required
- Support weekly stock audits and prioritise reporting for any shortages or discrepancies
- Complete and lodge warranty claim forms

You’ll need:
- A current Driver’s Licence (must-have)
- Pass a pre-employment medical
- Police Clearance (or happy to apply)
- Previous parts interpreting experience
- Proven track record with ordering, parts operations and inventory systems
- Proficient in Microsoft Office

Valuable bonuses (Not Essential):
- A Forklift Licence
- MYOB experience
