About the role
An immediate-start opportunity for a seasoned Senior Payroll Officer to take ownership of end-to-end payroll in a fast-paced, multi-site environment. This is a temp role through to the new year with a strong view to permanency for the right person, reporting directly to the CFO and playing a key part in two upcoming December pay cycles**IDEALLY**
You will be the payroll specialist the business relies on for accurate, compliant and timely pay runs, supporting leaders and employees with clear, friendly payroll advice.

What you will be doing
- Managing end-to-end processing of a multi-site payroll, ensuring accuracy, timeliness and full legislative compliance
- Running upcoming pay cycles (17 December and 31 December), quickly learning existing processes, awards and agreements
- Acting as the first point of contact for payroll queries, resolving issues and explaining outcomes clearly to staff and managers
- Preparing and maintaining accurate payroll records, reports and reconciliations for leadership and audit purposes
- Partnering with HR, Finance and Operations to keep employee data clean, aligned and up to date
- Identifying opportunities to streamline processes and improve payroll efficiency
What you bring
- 5+ years of hands-on payroll experience, ideally in high-volume or multi-site environments
- Strong knowledge of Australian payroll legislation, including Fair Work, super, leave and tax
- Proven experience with ADP payroll; exposure to rostering systems is a strong advantage
- High attention to detail and strong MS Office skills
- A calm, solutions-focused approach under pressure and tight deadlines
- Confidence to hit the ground running in a temp assignment with minimal ramp-up time
