Recruitment Consultant

Location:

Subiaco WA 6008, Australia

Job Type:

Permanent Full Time

Why recruitment?
Let’s be real – recruitment isn’t just another job. It’s where people, problem-solving, and purpose converge.

Think of it this way: every day, you get to change someone’s life by helping them land their dream job.

At the same time, you’re the go-to person for businesses that need the right talent to get the job done. It’s like connecting the dots but with power tools and hi-vis.

Recruitment keeps you on your toes – it’s fast-paced, dynamic, and full of opportunities to learn and grow. You’ll hone your sales and negotiation skills, master the art of building relationships, and get a front-row seat to some of the coolest industries out there.

Plus, recruitment isn’t just a job; it’s a career with real growth potential. Start with us, and who knows? In a few years, you could be running your own desk or even your own team.

What you’ll be doing:
Working alongside our blue-collar recruitment pros to learn the ropes.
Matching entry-level and experienced Driller's Offsiders with jobs and businesses they will thrive in.
Building relationships with clients and candidates (pro tip: people skills are key).
Managing applications, picking up the phone and keeping the recruitment process ticking along.
What we’re looking for:

As this is an entry-level role, attitude goes further than anything else, but if you already have experience in Drilling or other blue-collar roles, you'll be one step ahead. We're also looking for:
A people person: You love talking to people, listening to their stories, and helping them out.
Energy and drive: You’re hungry to learn, eager to prove yourself, and ready to roll up your sleeves.
Sense of humour: Recruitment can get wild – if you can’t laugh about it, you’ll cry (and we’d rather laugh).
Resilience: We are in the people business, and people are the most unpredictable creatures on the planet. 99% of the time they do what they say they’re going to, but sometimes they don’t. We don’t take it personally, and we don’t want you to either.
What’s next?

Send us your CV and a Cover Letter that includes your secret sauce to dealing with people and why recruiting entry-level FIFO roles appeals to you. Hot tip: try to avoid using AI to write your whole cover letter. Trust us, we can tell, and to be honest, we'd rather hear from a human than a robot!

PS: Applications without a Cover Letter that don't include what we ask for will not be progressed. We might be laid back and chilled here, but attention to detail is something that is a must.
