Office Administrator

Location:

Perth WA, Australia

Job Type:

Permanent Full Time

This is the kind of role that suits someone who finds genuine satisfaction in keeping things running well, earns trust quickly, and becomes the kind of person everyone quietly depends on.

You will be based in a beautiful office, with stunning views overlooking the Swan River and be within walking distance of Elizabeth Quay train station.

The office can be quiet, so if you are looking for a loud social environment, you might want to sit this one out. That said, quiet doesn't mean uneventful. The days are full, the work is varied, and there's a genuine warmth to the team - it just tends to show up over a morning tea rather than an after-work drinks roster. If that sounds like your kind of place, you'll settle in quickly.

What your days will look like

You'll be the operational heartbeat of the office. From being the first face people see, the person who notices what needs doing before anyone asks, and the one who makes sure the executive team can focus on what matters most.

On any given day, that might look like:
Welcoming guests and fielding calls with warmth and professionalism
Keeping the boardroom, kitchen and shared spaces ready and well-stocked
Managing diaries, coordinating meetings and handling corporate travel end-to-end (flights, visas, loyalty programs, contingencies)
Maintaining office systems: security registers, IT assets, software licences, phone systems and digital filing
Coordinating external contractors and service providers across multiple locations
Planning and running internal events (monthly team catch-ups, seasonal celebrations, end-of-year functions)
Working with external IT partners and actively exploring where AI tools and automation could make us sharper
The part where you recognise yourself

You don't need a long title history. You need good instincts, a strong work ethic and the kind of professionalism that doesn't need managing.

Specifically:
You stay composed. Multiple directors, shifting priorities, the occasional curveball, none of that rattles you.
You've got strong organisational instincts and a low tolerance for unnecessary complexity or clutter.
You understand discretion. Not everything that crosses your desk is for public consumption, and you're comfortable with that.
You present well and communicate clearly, whether you're talking to a courier or a senior executive.
What you'll bring to the table
At least two years of experience in an office administrator role or something similar
You're comfortable across Microsoft Office - Word documents come out polished, Outlook keeps you on top of everything, and you know enough Excel to get the job done.
If you've made it this far and you're still nodding, that's probably a sign. Send your CV and a cover letter addressed to Lauren van de Ven. If you have any questions, you can call 08 6140 1800.
