Marketing Account Manager

Location:

West Perth WA 6005, Australia

Job Type:

Permanent Full Time

You've read enough job ads to know what's coming next.

The one about culture, the one about "no two days are the same," the one where they say fast-paced six times and hope you don't notice there's nothing concrete to back it up.

This isn't that.

This is a Perth marketing agency with a growing book of WA businesses, a specialist team of around 18 across creative, digital, strategy and tech, and a seat at the front of client relationships that's yours to own from day one.

Specifically, you'll manage a portfolio of accounts representing around $50k per month of managed marketing work.

You're not building strategy from scratch -- the specialists do that. You drive it, hold clients to it, and bring enough marketing nous to spot when something's off.

What this actually looks like

Clients are varied SME's and WA-known.

Relationships run deep. You'll be across their businesses, their goals and their Friday afternoon moods.

The specialist team does the work behind you; you make sure nothing slips, nothing's late, and clients always feel like they're the only ones you're thinking about.

You'll run meetings. Write briefs. Scope work. Manage delivery. Have the kind of commercial awareness that means you protect margin while keeping clients happy. It's an art, and you either get it or you don't.

The good news: this agency gets it too.

They hire for three traits - Hungry, Humble, Smart - and they mean all three equally. Drive without ego. Pace without chaos. Intelligence that reads a room as well as a brief.

What's actually on offer (here's the clique bullet points)
Real ownership of a client book, not a babysitting role
A specialist team of 18 behind you who are genuinely good at what they do
AI-forward tooling that's wired into the workflow, not bolted on as an afterthought
Leadership development and coaching that's a serious investment, not an HR line item
Gym membership + quarterly socials
Hybrid flexibility once you've found your feet
$85k - $100k + super, with real pay progression for people who deliver
What you bring

Agency or professional services background at the Account Manager/Account Executive level.

You're commercially fluent -- you understand the push-pull between client satisfaction and profitability without needing it explained.

You communicate with confidence to CEOs as easily as to creatives.

You ask questions, take feedback, and you're driven enough that you go after the work rather than waiting for it to find you.

To apply

Send your CV and a creative cover letter on why this is your kind of role. Eva will be in touch for a confidential conversation before any introductions are made.
