You’ll take the time to understand how the business works at every level, so expect to roll up your sleeves and spend time on the floor mixing it up with the team!

What’s on the Menu
- Knead strong relationships: Lead recruitment, onboarding, and retention strategies to build a team that’s on a roll.
- Whisk away employee concerns: Be the go-to person for employee relations, making sure everyone’s voice is heard and butter decisions are made.
- Mix culture and growth: Shape and maintain a company culture that’s as rich and layered as their croissants. (They currently have 100+ employees in a variety of casual, part-time and perm roles with the added complexity of factory shift-work and rostering)
- Bake up training programs: Develop and implement training and development initiatives that ensure employees rise to their full potential.
- Measure up to compliance: Keep everyone (including the head honchoes) in line with employment laws and HR best practices – it’s all about the right balance!
- Spread the love: Lead employee engagement activities that bring joy, just like their famous cinnie scrolls.
- Frost the details: Handle HR operations like performance management and employee grievances with flourish. (A strong background working with and staying on top of multiple awards is essential)
- Stir up support: Coach and guide managers on effective communication and conflict resolution.
- Dust up safety: Champion a safety first environment and manage workers compensation claims.

The Perfect Recipe for You
- You’ve got 5+ years of HR experience, proof that you can handle the heat!
- You possess a robust understanding of employment law, HR principles, and workplace safety standards, as solid as a perfectly risen brioche.
- Your communication and conflict resolution skills are as smooth as a well-whipped meringue.
- You excel at building relationships and influencing stakeholders at every level, mixing structure with a dash of innovative flair.
- You thrive on structure but know when to be flexible a master at balancing the precise measurements of HR strategies with the creative spark of culinary innovation.
- You must be a foodie! This team is passionate about putting great local food in people’s bellies, and they love working with others who share that love for quality eats!
