OUR CLIENT AND THE ROLE
Our client is a global leader in mineral drilling, specialising in underground diamond coring for the hard rock mining industry. You'll be working on underground drill rigs and associated equipment, handling electrical servicing, fault finding, and maintenance in both surface and underground environments. The workshops are well-tooled and ready for action!

ELECTRICAL CHECK LIST
- Wiring of mobile underground diamond drill rig carriers, 24V auto electrical
- 1000v control cabinets, motors and trailing cable assemblies
- Electrical commissioning of new-build drill rigs
- Build, diagnose and repair low-voltage control wiring and panels
- Diagnose and repair low-voltage AC machines
- Program PLCs/nodes for auto drilling functions
- Working on control switches, relays, black view cameras, electrical box rebuilds, and GPS systems

THINGS YOU'LL NEED IN YOUR TOOL BAG
- Permanent Unlimited Australian Working rights
- Open WA Electrical Licence
- Manual C Class Driver Licence
- Previous experience working in the mining sector on mobile, fixed plant or drill rigs
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Current police clearance
- Must reside in Western Australia
- Attention to detail, take pride in your work and be process-driven.
- Work autonomously or in small crews
