Itch is recruiting Trainee Drillers, Drillers and Supervisors for long-term drilling contracts across a handful of solid operators. We are talking diamond drilling, RC drilling and underground drilling, with good companies that look after their crews and pay properly for people who know what they are doing.

The job

You will be drilling.

Not “supporting strategic field-based resource outcomes”. Not “leveraging operational excellence in a dynamic environment”.

DRILLING!

Depending on your experience, you could be working across diamond, RC or underground drilling, keeping the rig moving, working safely, handing over properly at cross-shift and doing the job the way it should be done.

What you’ll need
Experience in drilling
Certificate III in Drilling or relevant drilling tickets/certs
Clean police clearance
HR-B licence preferred for surface
Ability to pass pre-employment checks
A safety-first approach without needing a motivational poster to remind you
A decent attitude, solid work ethic and the ability to get on with the crew
You’ll suit this if
You have worked around drilling crews before and understand the rhythm of the job. You are reliable, practical, not precious, and not looking for a job where every second sentence starts with “that’s not my role”.
You are already a driller, we want to know what you have drilled, where you have drilled and what gear you have been on.
You are a supervisor, we want to know that you can run the job, manage the crew and keep things moving without turning into a clipboard with boots.
You are a trainee, we want to see effort, fitness, reliability and a genuine reason why drilling is where you want to build your career.
