Looking for a seat where you are close to the trades, the clients and the decisions, and not stuck in back office admin?
This Adviser Assistant role partners one-on-one with a high-performing Adviser in a leading private wealth firm, supporting high and ultra-high-net-worth clients and gaining exposure to sophisticated portfolios and global investment solutions. You will be working either 1:1 or 1:2.

Real responsibility: execute trades in the Adviser’s absence within clear protocols, and be the trusted point of contact when he is not available.
What you will actually be doing
Keep client records accurate, compliant and current across internal systems.
Run day-to-day account administration, including IPO and ECM allocations, stock transfers, corporate actions, settlements and domestic or international trades.
Prepare meeting packs, proposals, and review documents so client meetings run smoothly and on time.
Manage onboarding, account openings and ongoing portfolio administration for a high-touch HNW and UHNW client base.
Liaise daily with clients, internal teams and external providers to resolve queries quickly and professionally.
Segment and tag a client database of more than 1,000 clients so communication and targeting become sharper and more efficient.
When the Adviser is away, you will execute trades within your authority, monitor time-sensitive items and keep clean records of everything you do.
The kind of person who will thrive
2-3+ years in wealth management, stockbroking or similar, with hands-on trade execution and settlements experience.
Detail-oriented and organised, you understand that in this environment, small errors have real consequences.
Strong written and verbal communication, confident in dealing with sophisticated, time-poor clients.
High discretion around confidential client and financial information.
Self-sufficient, steady under pressure and happy to pitch in wherever needed, with no that is not my job attitude.
Nice to have, or keen to develop:
RG146, Xplan or Iress exposure, HNW and UHNW client servicing, CRM segmentation skills and an interest in international markets.
