We will be honest; we did some poking around at other roles advertised for an Admin and Accounts Officer and based on that we promise not to use the word “Superstar” in this ad!


Our client is seeking an Admin and Accounts person who is a supers… (whoops almost did it), actually our client doesn’t need one of them. They need someone with a passion for numbers, organisation and customer service. In this role you will be working with your team to ensure the accounts and admin function for the business sails smoothly. Ultimately, customer happiness is a key indicator of business performance, so if the back office is humming nicely (thanks to you), the customers will come back, and the business will continue to grow.

We want the type of person that says to themselves, “How can I make this experience the best it can be?” each (and every) time they deal with someone or something. To sum it up, we are looking for someone that cares about what they do.

You will work as part of a fantastic team that both support and develop one another. In a nutshell, your key responsibilities are to:
Assist in various aspects of accounts such as accounts receivable and payable, including PO processing and invoicing
Backup administration support such as booking in repair jobs
Provide exceptional customer service as the first point of contact for walk in customers and answering the phone

• Experience working either in administration and accounts, particularly AP and AR
• Being able to juggle competing priorities
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Attention to details is a must, matched with great time management
• Problem solving – you use your common sense to see the solution, not the roadblock
