Welding Supervisor

Location:

Belmont WA, Australia

Job Type:

Casual/Vacation

NOT ALL WELDING SUPERVISORS ARE FABRICATED THE SAME

Some just clock in. Others build the future. We’re hunting for the second kind.
Based in Belmont, our client is a powerhouse in WA’s comms and power and has ongoing contracts for self-contained/ off-grid site rooms.

They’re converting shipping containers into off-grid site offices, building towers that touch the sky, and delivering some seriously cool infrastructure projects across the state.

They need someone who’s not just across the welding codes — but someone who is experienced in both workshop and office environments.

Here’s what you’ll be doing:
- Leading a tight-knit crew of welders and fabricators
- Keeping projects on spec, on code, and on time
- Signing off on ITPs/ITRs like it’s second nature
- Mentoring the next gen (bonus points if you can weld and teach without swearing too much)
- Working with engineers and PMs to make the impossible happen

What we’re looking for:
- At least 2 years in a welding leadership role
- AS 1796 Certificate 10 — if you’ve got it, we want to know
- A solid grip on MIG, Stick and Flux Core welding — no cowboys
- Someone who takes safety seriously, without taking themselves too seriously
- Clear communicator, natural team leader, all-round good human

You’ll also need:
- C Class Licence
- Full Australian working rights
- A healthy dose of pride in what you build

Why this gig?
Because it’s more than a job. It’s a seat at the table with a company that’s actually doing big things — not just talking about them. You'll be backed by a forward-thinking leadership team, supported with the right gear, and trusted to run your crew like you mean it.
