We’re looking for someone who gets construction. Someone who knows that the gap between a great design and a smooth build is filled with smart planning, solid people, and technical know-how.

This brand-new leadership role sits at the heart of a steel fabrication business that feeds into one of WA’s most trusted residential construction groups. You won’t be taking over someone’s job, you’ll be building it from the ground up. And you’ll have the backing of a GM who’s supportive, not overbearing, and a production team that’s ready to collaborate.

The gig You’ll lead a 15-person team spanning estimating, scheduling, drafting and admin. Your job? Keep the flow going from concept to completion. You’re the conductor. The coordinator. The one who sees around corners and keeps projects moving.

Your day-to-day could include:

- Managing workloads and priorities across technical teams
- Coordinating between design, drafting, production and delivery
- Working alongside the Production Manager to ensure nothing gets missed
- Bringing a LEAN mindset (or a willingness to learn)
- Creating calm, not chaos and lifting the people around you

What you bring

You might be a senior estimator, scheduler, drafter or construction admin leader ready for a bigger challenge. Or you could already be managing people and just looking for a role where you get to lead with autonomy and purpose.
Either way, you’ll need:

- A background in residential construction (modular or commercial also works)
- Experience leading a team or mentoring others
- Strong communication skills, especially with culturally diverse teams
- An eye for detail, a head for systems, and a heart for people
- A driver’s licence and the ability to pass a police check
