Store Manager - Karrinyup Boutique

Location:

Karrinyup WA 6018, Australia

Job Type:

Permanent Full Time

Step into leadership for a nationally recognised boutique retailer, where your ideas make a difference and your voice is genuinely valued.

As Store Manager, you’ll not only shape a tight-knit team and local store culture, but also have direct access to the company’s inspiring Founder.

What a day in the role looks like:
- Start strong: Open the store, set the visual scene and priorities, and energise the team at morning brief.
- Connect and inspire: Welcome customers warmly, drive memorable experiences, encourage regular shoppers, and motivate your team of four (mostly casuals) to deliver stand-out service every day.
- Real leadership: Train, coach and roster your staff, deliver honest feedback, and support their growth while building camaraderie. Celebrate wins and nurture store pride.
- Drive commercial results: Monitor sales with your team, adjust strategy to hit KPIs, and celebrate achievement together.
- Show your influence: Share feedback directly with head office and, uniquely, with the Founder. Whether you’ve spotted an opportunity to improve day-to-day processes or want to offer new ideas for future collections, your experience and creativity reach the decision-makers (including a Founder who’s always open to a better way and genuinely loves hearing fresh thinking).
- Get creative: Enhance visual merchandising, manage window displays, and make sure every detail reflects the high standards and evolving vision of the company.
- Keep it professional: Oversee banking, compliance, and store operations, resolving any issues and ensuring the space runs smoothly and safely.
- Wrap up: Finish your day with a team review, celebrate collective wins, and plan for what’s next.
