Location:
Perth WA, Australia
Job Type:
Full time
SAME, SAME BUT DIFFERENT
Yes, our client is a tax advisory and tax is tax right? In essence we guess it is but what makes this client standout is how they go about the type of work that they do, the culture they foster and the types of clients they attract.
This is somewhere that you will work with the very best, and we don’t mean their extensively experienced team, we mean the range of clients that you will assist.
This is the world of exceptional local and national businesses, ultra-high net worth individuals with a mix of international work thrown in.
You will get the opportunity to work across.
- Corporate and international tax
- Compliance and reporting
- Business advisory
- Innovative tax incentives
- Indirect tax
- and also assist in family law litigation matters.
EXCEL-LENT CULTURE
It’s not all BAS statements and spreadsheets here either. Our client has a culture of fostering and developing its people, transforming the able to excellent and the excellent into exceptional. They do this by taking the time to understand what their people need, the learning, the tools, and the collaboration. On your pathway for your CA? You will receive full support from the team here in ensuring you are setup for success!
Mix this in with a place that truly wants you to play as hard as you work, and it becomes somewhere you will be wishing for Monday’s around to get back into the office.
Speaking of the office, they have a fantastic environment located right near the CBD but without the parking and transportation headaches. Getting to and from work is a joy, not a chore but that’s just the start.
They have recently moved into the newly constructed premises, and it is insane! Think of every bit of technological wizardry and modern convenience and you will be almost right, this is a place that any friend will be jealous they aren’t working at.
Throw into the mix a highly social team with regular social club events, EOFY party, Christmas get together along with somewhere that will reward you for your work and this firm really is special.
DO YOU HAVE THE ASSETS FOR THE ROLE?
You must be a people person type of accountant to fit into this role. You are the type of person that enjoys getting to know people, delving deeper into their situation and get to the nitty-gritty parts where the real opportunity for you to shine are.
You would have learnt this whilst obtaining your Bachelors Degree in Accounting and Commerce, then developed it further in your 2-5 years spent in Public Practice. This is where you harnessed the ability to deal with a range of scenarios and explaining things in a way that your clients can understand.
Ideally you have experience in Xero, this is not essential for the right person, but you like to dress as sharply as you think (given your clientele this is a must).
