Say goodbye to peak hour traffic and hello to the open fields of grass and nature! Based in the far southern suburbs of Perth, our client is a medium-sized, family-owned business in the Agronomy industry.

Boasting the largest WA farm in their specialty and a loyal team of staff who seem to never leave, (literally, most of them have been here for 10-15 years), this is a position is an opportunity you don't want to miss, not just because of its rarity but also for the team family you will be joining.

With a reputation that precedes them, there's no need to chase sales here, creating a functional and happy work environment, where everyone chips in to get the job done.


WHAT’S INVOLVED?


To be successful here you need to be across all things admin. Someone with strong attention to detail and ready to hit the ground running. Reporting to the Admin Services Manager, you will take on a 2IC role as such, guiding the staff in all areas of customer service, conflict resolution and queries. There is no micromanaging here, and you will be fully trained in all areas of the business and schooled on the product. While there are solid processes and a golden manual, they are open to suggestions if you find a better way of doing things. You’ll also be across logistics; taking trade orders, liaising with the Production Coordinator and monitoring product stock levels, but don’t fret, it’s always all hands-on deck and a great team culture. There is an element of accounts which will involve data entry, reconciliation, creating invoices and some payroll to help out when necessary.

The current administrator is leaving Perth (sad face), but with you having a New Year start, you will have a good few months for an extensive hand over (happy face). Business fluctuates, and there are certain months where you will be run off your feet, and other times less hectic. If you don’t like being pulled from pillar to post, this role is not for you. It can be overwhelming at times but the team is super support and help is only a chair away. You may have to work the occasional half day on a Saturday to help out, but this will always be compensated.


DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES?


You must be experienced in administration and understand the importance of customer service and have a willingness to learn. We are also looking for:

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience in MYOB is a plus but not a deal breaker
- You must be well spoken
- Strong organisational skills and exceptional follow up
- It’s all in the detail - no incorrect orders here, so accuracy is essential
- Someone who can multitask, and not bat an eye lid
- A calm demeanour
- Proven longevity in your previous positions
- Must have driver’s licence
