THIS IS NOT A HIGH PRESSURE ROLE!!

Well at least we don't want your customers to think so... this is a role for the relationship builder, the person that knows everything there is to know about your clients because you are their solutions provider... you solve their problems (even the ones they don't know about yet). You will work hand in hand with the business owner who is driven, well respected and still very involved with the business.


BUT LETS TALK ABOUT YOU

You on the other hand thrive on the pressure of getting the job done and your previous track record in either selling or renting equipment and services shows that you have the knowhow to excel in this role.

You are also not a one-trick pony and are able to use your chameleon like EQ to adapt to speaking from the large air rental market to the miner that needs something yesterday out the back of Woop Woop.

Your network is something that you are proud of and allows you to pick up the phone and have someone answer at the other end! You have earned this through doing good work, being there when people need you and coming through when others thought it wasn't possible.

You also have the ability to generate new leads through both your existing network and seeking out business development opportunities.

Now comes time in the ad for the obligatory bullet-points on what specific previous experience that you ultimately (most are desirable without being required) will bring with you... its boring but we need to do it!

- Demonstrated experience in rental or air compression industry, power generation, air compressors, mining, and construction

- A strong understanding of small air rental markets, with the ability to win new work and supply into rental companies (desirable)

- Experience in servicing and technical specialist roles, with a good understanding of spare parts and quoting processes

- Proven ability to develop new business opportunities and drive sales in niche markets, particularly in smaller markets and renewables

That wasn't so bad now was it? But wait... there's more...

- Experience in Mining & Energy Sectors is desired.

- Mechanical trade qualification (desired but not essential)

- Extensive experience selling and or rental of equipment and Service

- High level of communication and organisational skills.

- Experience using SAP CRM and ERP platforms.

- Availability to travel interstate and occasionally overseas.

I am going to skip the "Work autonomously as well as part of a team" part... but the team is a real factor in why you will want this role. You will not feel like you are living in Siberia here! You will work with a team, you will get together with that team and you will even travel internationally with them (to such things as trades shows in Las Vegas, the factories of companies that you represent and more!).

This doesn't mean that you have to be in the office everyday and WFH is a reality for others in this team... our client can be flexible on location... with a national reach the only limitation is what you make of it!
