WHAT’S INVOLVED?

We need a pro receptionist to take the reins and make sure the office is running in perfect harmony. You will be the first point of contact for all visitors and help out with admin for the CEO/Managing Director.

It’s not a bustling office with phones ringing off the hook, but when the phones not ringing, you’ll be assisting the senior administration team and there is always something to do, it will be up to you to take initiative and show them your stuff. If reception is your career path – great! But if you’re looking to move on up, there are quite a few stepping stones here leading into other departments and opportunities.

Here’s a quick snapshot of what your day will look like:
- Greeting visitors and making them feel welcomed in the most professional way
- Monitoring meeting room bookings, preparing for meetings and showcasing your hospitality skills; providing refreshments to guests, organising catering, coffees, you get the gist
- Mail processing and distribution
- Looking after the Executives and taking on some of the admin so they can do what they do best
- Keeping the kitchens spick and span
- General reception duties such as printing, filing, stationery orders, answering the phones, stocking the kitchen etc. etc.

DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES?

Your presentation, personality and warmth needs to be on point. We are looking for someone who can provide exceptional admin support but is also a stellar receptionist. There’s a lot of in-office comradery, so it’s important you can work well within a team. After all, you are the glue that keeps it altogether.

We will also be looking for:
- Previous experience as a receptionist or administration assistant in a corporate environment
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Polished personal presentation
- The ability to juggle multiple tasks at once
- Strong attention to detail, you notice the little things, and the ability to produce quality work
- Clear written and verbal communication skills with the confidence to draft emails and other correspondence
- Someone who won’t shy away from emptying the dishwasher and cleaning the coffee machine
