THE WHO, THE WHAT AND THE WHERE

If you are looking for a varied role where no two days are the same, well we have the role for you! You’re not solely a Receptionist, you’re not solely a Personal Assistant and you’re not solely an Administrator – you are a bit of everything!

A stable, well-known Property Developer in the outskirts of the CBD, you will most likely have come across one of their developments around Perth and if you have, you probably wish that one of their apartments came with the job! They have corporate and commercial projects with the goal of having a strong contribution to the cities in which they operate. You will be reporting to the Executive Assistant who has been in the business for a while, so there is a lot of help to set you up for success.

WHAT’S INVOLVED?

This is a part-time role working three to four days a week - your pick!

You are the sunshine! From clients to colleagues to couriers, your goal is to ensure every interaction is to be a memorable one. Your work will be varied and is split into multiple functions. Here are some of your responsibilities:

Reception
- Answering phones and general email enquiries
- Greeting guests and ensuring there is tea and coffee available for meetings
- Manage courier deliveries and all mail

Personal Assistant
- Provide secretarial and administrative assistance to the State Manager (he is a great guy!)
- Diary management and meeting coordination
- Manage mileage claims and corporate credit card receipts on behalf of the State Manager

Administration
- Data entry and document production
- Ordering stationery and kitchen supplies
- Filing documents and maintaining office registers
- Manage office equipment and maintenance (lights, aircon, printers etc.)
- Keep the office tidy and clean, including board and meeting rooms
- Provide assistance to the Executive Team and Executive Assistant
- Organise staff functions including catering

DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES?

Our client is looking for someone who is personable, has strong emotional intelligence and can make a good cup of coffee… especially on a Monday! You need to be a warm host who won’t get flustered under pressure. We need someone with initiative who is always thinking ahead.

We are looking for:
- Someone who is approachable, professional, friendly and reliable
- At least two years’ experience in a similar role (ideally in professional services, but if not, that is OK too)
- Strong interpersonal skills – both written and verbal
- Good organisation and time management so you can meet deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and be comfortable with troubleshooting when tech issues arise
- Very strong attention to detail
