Office Coordinator & Administrator

West Perth WA, Australia

Job Type:

Full Time

Join a close-knit team of IT wizards in a laid-back yet professional workspace. Picture floor-to-ceiling glass, productive workspaces, a few boxes of IT equipment, some cables and some very high-functioning minds glued to computer screens. Conveniently located near the train station and cat stop, this is where the tech magic happens.

It’s a unique role in the way that it is office administration, but you are very much the glue that holds it all together, or in this case, the cable tie that loops the computer cords neatly. You will be reporting to the Director who is across all the day-to-day stuff and you’ll have a solid manual to get you started. Plus, everyone and anyone is only a tap on the should away if you have a question, they are very supportive and once you settle in, you can expect some good office banter and in office comradery, they understand that there’s time for work, but also time for a laugh.

In a nutshell, your role is to look after all things ‘not tech’ so the rest of the guys can do their thing. There is no PA work or diary management, but hundreds of little tasks need to be done, so you can get onto the next thing and continue helping the team. Your day will look a little something like this:
- Phone & email handling
- Build strong relations while handling calls and emails
- Ensure the office is stocked with essentials
- Oversee incoming stock, record serial numbers, track and conduct stocktaking and necessary follow-ups
- Address account queries, conduct same bank reconciling but no invoicing (yew!)

Are you quick on the uptake and a team player with a good heart? That is exactly what we’re after! You’ll efficiently tackle various tasks, with minimal direction. Tech knowledge? Just the basics suffice; your attitude is what counts most. Some other niceties include:
- Solid admin and customer service skills
- Initiative with a capital “I”
- Experience in Microsoft Office Suite

If you have read the above and believe that you tick the boxes, we would love to hear from you… but… don’t rush in.

Along with your resume (in Word format), we need a cover letter from you (addressed to Amy Morgan) explaining why you are the person for this job.

PS: Applications submitted without a personalised cover letter will not be considered, we want to see that you have attention to detail required for this role.
