Allan Stuart is recruiting on behalf of a client for experienced Mechanical, Diesel and Drill Fitters who know how to keep underground diamond drilling equipment performing at its best.

THE GIG
This is a hands-on role working on state-of-the-art underground diamond drill rigs with a solid team of skilled tradespeople.

Your days will include:
- Servicing, maintenance, fault finding and commissioning of underground diamond drilling equipment
- Working on feed rails, cylinder repairs
- Drill head repairs
- Cab, boom and mast repairs
- Electrical fault diagnosis
- Completing logs and reports accurately and on time
- Working alongside other fitters and trades to repair and commission equipment

WHAT YOU'LL NEED
- Permanent Australian working rights
- Australian trade qualification
- Strong hydraulic skills, including experience with compressors, hoses and valves
- Ability to inspect drill masts, feed systems and rod handling equipment
- Experience servicing and maintaining drill rigs is highly desirable
- C Class driver’s licence
- National Police Clearance issued within the last 6 months
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and D&A screening
