Executive Assistant

Perth WA, Australia

Job Type:

Full Time

Our client is one of largest manufacturers and suppliers of outdoor equipment. From camping tents to military equipment, if you need it in the outdoors, they’ve got you covered…quite literally. Proudly based in the Eastern suburbs of Perth, they are a global award-winning brand, who aim to inspire in everything they do. They live and breathe the outdoors and base everything they do on real life experience and genuine passion for nature. Their cutting-edge designs have taken them to the top and naturally, they are just great people with one heck of a vision.

The massive base camp consists of a warehouse, stock centre and massive open plan office which is a hive of activity that you are going to want to be part of. You’ll be working with a bunch of people that are mindful, work hard but also have fun, and don’t take themselves too seriously. You will most certainly not be just another cog in the wheel here, and of course, enjoy a generous employee discount AND an onsite swimming pool.

This is a role for an expert EA, someone who is an experienced “right hand person”, who understands the demands that come with being the EA to a CEO. You’ll be supporting a calm, level-headed CEO, who is a good communicator and doesn’t need to be “managed up”. He will be there to pick you up, dust you off, mentor and coach, so it’s a rare opportunity to get a behind the scenes look at the life of a CEO.

Consider yourself his super organised right arm. There will be lots of diary management, heaps of board meetings and organising board papers, managing his schedule and commitments, and helping out with presentations. Being a global business, you’ll also be playing travel tetris, booking national and international flights and accommodation reguarly.

We are seeking an experienced and high-tech Executive Assistant who is confident in their abilities and can step up and just get things done. You need strong emotional intelligence and be honest and loyal by nature. It’s also key that you aren’t someone that gets flustered when under pressure- you need to be able to stay focused.

We are also looking for:
- Extensive experience in diary, email and travel management
- A good time manager who is able to prioritise their workload
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Sky high attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- The ability to always be 5 steps ahead
- A collaborator
- Someone who can REALLY listen

You don’t have to be an avid hiker, but a genuine love for the outdoors would be the perfect fit.

So…let the adventure begin.

To get yourself to the top of the pile, include a cover letter addressed to Amy Morgan.

Our preferred resume format is MS Word.

We might seem a little quirky... but we take your privacy very seriously. Your application is highly confidential and will not be discussed with anyone outside of Itch without your permission.
