You will be provided the opportunity to present this dynamic team and use the skills you possess to be the first impression of this corporate office. This firm takes very seriously the experience and knowledge of a career Corporate Receptionist.


Being a good receptionist is a craft, and this is a classic reception role. It’s a long-term opportunity for someone who loves being the first point of contact both in person and on the phone. Reporting to HR, your primary job is ensuring the efficient running of the office, you are the main piece of the puzzle. We wouldn’t say it is a bustling office however it is demanding and challenging, yet consistent.

Here’s a tiny snapshot of the role:
- Meeting and greeting everyone who enters the office and offering them hospitality
- Mail processing and distribution
- Taking responsibility for office presentation, especially meeting rooms and Reception area, must always be spick and span!
- Managing and ordering kitchen and office supplies
- Preparing meeting rooms, catering and meeting papers
- Looking after the Executives
- General administrative support as required


First of all, it is imperative that you have outstanding presentation - you are the face of a highly professional company, and this should be reflected in how you put yourself together. Secondly, you must have excellent attention to detail in all areas; this means remembering faces and names, taking phone messages accurately, and having general awareness of what is happening in the office at all times (who is in and out of the office etc). You will also need:
- An excellent phone manner
- A welcoming and cheerful disposition
- Previous Reception experience is favoured however they are willing to train if you’re the right person
- Good MS Office skills
- The ability to juggle multiple tasks at once

Side note: we are not looking for clock watchers, or someone addicted to checking their phone constantly.
