THE WHO, THE WHAT AND THE WHERE

Having recently celebrated 6 years in business, our client is a very reputable, very respected communications consultancy, specialising in the mining and resources sector for ASX listed companies. Two years ago, there were only 4 of them, there are now 14 with plans to expand to Sydney. They truly are in a class of their own. They have the highest level of professionalism, but also like to enjoy themselves and have a bit of fun – a rare balance! Employee benefits that make us extremely envious, think; getaways at The Ritz, private boat charters to Rotto and a big focus on employee wellbeing. Located on the outskirts of the CBD, the office is what we would class as stylish and modern.

Needless to say, they are a group of driven, innovative, dynamic individuals looking for someone just as fierce to get in on this.

WHAT’S INVOLVED?

Your main role will be delivering communication strategies for internal and external stakeholders. You’ll be working closely with in house designers, videographers, media advisors and website developers to strategise different ways to communicate clear messages to a diverse market.

You’ll be working across a range of projects including:
- Coordinating communication initiatives
- Researching audience preferences and user needs
- Gathering and interpreting analytics data
- Writing and designing content for internal and external audiences

DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES?

Top of the list of course is…communication skills, second to none, written and verbal. You’ll need to be motivated and ready to break some ground to keep up with these revolution-rich individuals. You will also need 1-2 years’ experience with ASX and equity markets.

Other things that will excite us:
- The ability to create ridiculously good-looking/reading content that embodies the message AND then steer it towards the right market
- Sky high attention to detail
- Killer organisational skills
- An understanding of resources and JORC (not a deal-breaker)
- Research skills that leave no stone unturned
- Handy with Microsoft Office
- A knack for maximising client relationships and generating new ones
