Civil Site Supervisor - Albany

Location:

Albany WA 6330, Australia

Job Type:

Permanent Full Time

The Opportunity

Ideally, you're an experienced Civil Site Supervisor who is local to the Great Southern region, however Perth experience looking for a lifestyle shift and the smell of salt air rather than exhaust fumes will definitely also be considered.

Our client is a respected family-run business based in the region, delivering quality subdivision projects across the Great Southern.

With projects ramping up in Albany and surrounds, they need a steady hand to lead from the front and keep their crews, clients, and projects running smoothly.

This isn’t a clipboard-from-the-ute kind of role. You’ll be on the ground, boots dusty, guiding a team of 10–12 operators, keeping productivity sharp, safety tight, and stakeholders in the loop.

What You’ll Do Day to Day
- Oversee the bulk earthworks and subdivision civil works - making sure timelines, budgets, and safety are on point.
- Supervise, motivate and support a crew of experienced operators, driving performance through example.
- Plan and schedule site activities, ensuring smooth productivity and minimal downtime.
- Maintain safety, environmental and quality standards - Safety First isn’t a poster here, it’s the culture.
- Be the main point of contact on site, keeping communication flowing with head office, clients, consultants, and contractors.
- Track financials and schedules for your section of the project, reporting and recommending adjustments where needed.
- Jump in on problem solving and scope changes, putting contingency plans in place before issues become problems.

What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 3 years in a supervisory role in civil construction
- Cert IV in Civil Construction Supervision (or similar) + Construction White Card.
- Strong experience with subdivisions and bulk earthworks.
- Can confidently read and implement project plans.
- WA Driver’s Licence (HR a bonus) + current First Aid.
- Willingness to complete a clean National Police Clearance, medical, and LAB DAS.
- A leader who values communication, safety, and respect as much as production targets.

Why This Role Stands Out
- $100–120k salary package + Super + vehicle + tools of trade.
- Work Monday to Friday, 7:30 am – 4:30 pm (occasional weekends depending on project).
- Family-run company with a strong local reputation... you’re not just a number here.
- Real scope for ownership of projects and input into budgets, schedules, and solutions.
- Sea change lifestyle (ideally local to Albany or based in the Great Southern region, but Perth locals looking to relocate will definitely be considered)
