WHAT’S INVOLVED? 
  
In a nutshell, the main purpose of this position is to develop and grow revenue & profitability of the Branch and ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective operations across all Branch activities. Your role will be a hybrid one initially whilst the business grows, this means you will need to get your hands dirty from time to time and support your comms team.  Based in Mount Isa, the business has loads of potential, but it’s going to take a particularly determined person to step it up and facilitate the growth.  Big bucks and relocation costs covered if you are the right fit.  
  
If we break that down to a list of main areas of responsibility, it will look like this: 
  
Tenders/Sales - Actively engage new and existing clients and assisting sales staff to develop service quotes and submissions / tenders. Identify new sales opportunities. Monitor industry trends to ensure your product offerings remain current. 
  
Projects – Overseeing the branches projects, right through to completion. Ensuring all policies and procedures are adhered to. Actively listening to ongoing feedback from both customers and colleagues. 
  
Staff – One of the key aspects of this role is recruiting new staff to facilitate the growing business. Staff mentoring to ensure development of skills and capability. Undertake regular reviews with direct reports on their performance against their roles and KPI’s and document result. 
  
Financial - Ensure Branch operations return profit margins and deliver revenue targets for Branch Services as agreed. Operate within the operating budget. 
  
Systems - Ensure all Branch sales activity data is accurately entered into the appropriate systems. Ensure billing is completed in a timely manner and is accurate (address any disputes). 
  
Customer - Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers. Ensure customer expectations are met through the services offered. Ensure all client requirements for site access are adhered to by service staff.
