This role is not so much about selling ice to Eskimos, more about selling extremely specific, high-tech mining equipment to the likes of Mining, Plant, Sales and Operations Managers on the mining front. It’s no easy sell, but with this company, a big effort is rewarded with big bucks. Your first month will be just about getting to know the business and how the machines work. And while there is already a solid client base, it will be your role to develop that and take it to the next level. In a nutshell, you will need to listen to clients, find the solutions and alternate ways of selling, and get to the decision-makers to seal the deal.

Here's a further insight:
- Travel to meet with customers and secure contracts when required
- Execute contracts for the sale of equipment and parts
- Monitor competitors and market dynamics
- Manage budgets and prepare quotes
- Coordinate delivery of equipment and parts
- Informing Management of the condition of equipment and parts sales and influencing factors


We are looking for someone with at least 3 years within the mining sales industry and knows the ins and out of the mining sector.

You will also need:
- Outstanding negotiation and influencing skills
- The ability to build a network
- An interest in learning and developing your knowledge base
- Adaptive communication skills
- Demonstrated high level business and financial acumen
- An extensive sales skillset and willingness to go above and beyond
